When we encounter a health roadblock, it’s easy to respond reactively with pills, patches, and other quick fixes that give us instant pain relief. But without addressing the root cause, we get sucked into endlessly chasing our symptoms, and sometimes inadvertently create new problems.

My own health journey took a sudden turn on March 4, 2018 when I sustained an overuse injury to my right hip while running my first half marathon. As my pain got worse in the days and weeks following the race, I was forced to stop exercising altogether, and even had a hard time doing basic things like walking or even sitting for extended periods of time. I woke up every day feeling broken, lethargic, and defeated.
Over the course of the next year, I saw physical therapists, chiropractors, and countless other health practitioners. Each one prescribed me their respective intervention strategies, many of which helped a little... until they didn’t.
It was, in part, my own struggle and frustration with a suboptimal, symptom-chasing model of health care that sparked my work as a science-based holistic health coach. In November of 2018, I launched Fueled by Four, my independent health optimization practice. I have since helped hundreds of entrepreneurs and executives achieve unparalleled levels of wellness through an in-depth exploration of movement, nutrition, sleep, stress, and environmental exposure to toxins. Using my uniquely integrative, totally customized, and science-based system, we identify and address limitations at the source in order to reach levels of health that far exceed expectations.
