Cristian Luecke has always enjoyed playing competitive sports as a kid and teenager. He fell in love with the gym and lifting weights when he worked with the forest service as a wildland firefighter. Working at diakadi since 2010, Cristian has built a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm for lifting weights in order to help people reach greater strength and physique goals than they imagined possible for themselves. 

Changing aesthetic is what brought Cristian to the gym. What kept him around was being able to move pain free after learning functional fitness, and destroying strength plateaus. Struggling to at first bench press 95lbs Cristian now boasts a 345lbs bench press 1rm. It took work and dedication but he knows you can destroy your plateaus as well.

Using his experience from his five years of professional personal training, he gives his clients comprehensive and individualized workout plans. You will first be put through a four part in-depth assessment in order to see how your body moves, and what workouts can be safely done while seeing which workouts or muscles need extra attention. The assessment consists of a movement screen, a flexibility screen, hands on muscle isolation screen and a fat percentage test (you can always opt out of the fat test if it makes you feel uncomfortable). After completing the assessment Cristian will create your personalized workout plan with homework days and rest days easily drawn out for you so that you can make the most out of your fitness journey. Cristian will not only help you reach your fitness goals, but will also teach you how to sustain them.

I’ve been training with Cristian since December, after having decided that I wanted to add a 4th day to my schedule at DIAKADI. When my trainer couldn’t work that day into his schedule, he referred me to Cristian, with whom I now train twice a week. The combination of the extra day and the workouts with Cristian have paid off better than I could have expected. My strength has increased significantly and the results are noticeable - it’s always nice to get a compliment but noticing it myself is even better. Cristian has the knowledge to develop a fitness program that will get you to where you want to be - everything from form and technique to diet, supplements, and motivation (such a big part of the deal). Good trainers are hard to find. Some of them are intimidating and others look like they could use a little training themselves. Cristian is neither of those. He’s a down to earth easy going guy with a good sense of humor. Not that it has anything to do with his training capabilities but for me it’s important to feel comfortable with your trainer. Having said that, Cristian excels in his knowledge of exercise training, diet recommendations and as a fitness motivator. I’m looking forward to continuing our workout sessions and have him kick my butt some more!

Cristiano is kind, thoughtful, and knowledgeable. I know I’m going to work out hard when I’m in the gym with him but I’m never scared I might hurt myself because he looks out for me. If I could afford to train with him every day it would be awesome! But once a week has been really a lot of help. I’ve lost some of my post preggo weight and feel generally more healthy and alert.
