  • Lower: L-1

Insertion The origin of the Deltoids, Lateral Clavical, Acromion, Spine of the Scapula

Action All three parts retract and adduct the scapula (pull the scapula back and closer to the mid line of the body), upper traps elevate the scapula, lower traps depress the scapula (upper and lower traps are synergistic in upward rotation of the scapula)
