This 2 part series will be based on Ancient Wisdom and Modern Science and how it relates to “healing” ourselves and helping to “heal” our clients. Together, we will be exploring the Chakra system in two separate seminars. The first will be focused on the Root and Sacral Chakras, the second will focus on the Solar Plexus Chakra and the Heart Chakra. We will dive into physical, emotional, and mental aspects of each Chakra, looking into the gland organs related, physical ailments and how the emotional and mental can create the physical reality. This seminar will also cover how to address some of these “issues” through visualization, meditation, and movement.
Seminar 1 Introduction to the Root Chakra (Muladhara) | Sacral Chakra (Svadhisthana) Do you have tight hamstrings, quads, calves, that no matter how much you stretch will never release and hold normal length tension relationships? Instability and or pain in your lower quarter (pelvis, hips, and knees)? Adrenal fatigue? Digestive issues? Sexual function issues? Do you feel that these “issues” could possibly be rooted in the emotional, mental, or spiritual realms?
Seminar 2 Introduction to the Solar Plexus Chakra (Manipura) | Heart Chakra (Anahata) Do you have Stomach ulcers, fatigue, weight around stomach, allergies, diabetes, digestive issues, shallow breathing, high blood pressure, heart disease, or cancer? Do you feel that these “issues” could possibly be rooted in the emotional, mental or spiritual realms? In these basic introduction classes, we will explore the "Root/Sacral" and “Solar/Heart” chakras with a short overview of the “issues” related to these chakras and a movement session on moving energy through these areas, including visualizations, breathing techniques, and mantras/affirmations. This class will be mainly movement based because I believe there is more power in the experience than there is in the knowledge.
