With 27 years of exercise coaching experience as a certified personal trainer, Darwin teaches his clients how to get stronger, fitter, and more resilient to the stress of everyday life. Exercise is an invaluable skill, and a safe and effective strength training program is the foundation of lasting physical and mental wellbeing. That’s why Darwin emphasizes exercise as a way to enhance all areas of health.
Whether you’re looking to improve strength for athletic performance, increase longevity and minimize the muscle and bone loss that can come with aging, or manage a condition like hypertension, you can get the results you want through an individualized fitness program that prioritizes long-term results.
Darwin’s clients appreciate his calm demeanor, strong listening skills, and commitment to helping others while always striving to deliver a high level of service. In addition to his experience in exercise and holistic health, he has specialized training in working with individuals with chronic medical conditions like hypertension, diabetes, and orthopedic injuries.
Raised in Houston, TX, Darwin made his way to San Francisco in 2006. Joining the DIAKADI team gave him a unique opportunity to work and learn alongside some of the best trainers and health practitioners in the industry.
He then made his way out of the U.S. for an invaluable “life abroad” experience. But Darwin ultimately returned to San Francisco. He wanted to once again work with DIAKADI’s top-notch trainers who are always pushing each other to learn and grow so they can help clients achieve their own physical and personal goals.
In his free time, Darwin is an avid reader, plays guitar, and can usually be found city hiking around San Francisco and thanking his lucky stars he’s out of the Texas heat.

I suffer from chronic pain from two failed back surgeries and was seeing a massage therapist who referred me to Darwin for more evaluation and an exercise program.
