Nina is a board-certified athletic trainer specializing in nutrition and wellness management. She received her masters from Boston University and holds an undergraduate degree in athletic training from James Madison University. She is a NASM certified personal trainer, as well as Graston Technique and RockTape Functional Movement Techniques Provider. She is also certified by the Titleist® Performance Institute (TPI). Her areas of expertise include: transitional fitness, injury prevention and rehabilitation, behavior modification and nutrition for active lifestyles. Nina is currently pursuing her 200 hour yoga teacher certification, focusing in alignment-based hatha.
As a clinician, Nina emphasizes active lifestyles rooted in personal fulfillment. Through realistic and attainable goals, she promotes customized fitness, beyond four walls. She has experience treating a wide variety of clients, including Division I college athletes, industrial and mechanical engineers, as well as those new to fitness. She is committed to empowering clients, helping them to change their perspective on recovery and wellness, through a whole-life approach.
An east coast transplant, she is enjoying exploring everything California has to offer. Look for her hiking with her two dogs, or soaking in winter sports, whether on the slopes or cheering on the Sharks!
