BIO.

Life is always happening for you, not to you.
— Tony Robbins

Sebastian Hagemeyer has always been athletic, but he is not your typical athlete. While growing up in the midwest he was involved in a number of sports from wrestling and soccer to hockey and gymnastics, but his true passion lies in extreme sports: BMXing, skateboarding, snowboarding, surfing and rock climbing. His love for fitness has paved the course of his life. Before creating Sebastian Hagemeyer Health and Fitness, Sebastian was a sponsored skateboarder in southern California, a licensed EMT in Oakland and the surrounding bay area, a volunteer Firefighter in San Francisco and a Navy Special Warfare Operator. During his preliminary training in the Navy he suffered great injuries that ended his career in the military. Throughout recovery, he focused his energy on learning new training modalities and performance training techniques that immensely helped him to walk and even run again. Now Sebastian shares these principles, as well as those he learned while completing his CPT CERT with NASM, with his own clients, focusing on identifying and treating movement dysfunctions and achieving long-term health results through focused performance training principles and nutrition. With over 4 years in the fitness industry, Sebastian's high energy, direct approach and humor only add to the effectiveness of the experience his clients enjoy.

Sebastian resides in the sunset district of San Francisco and enjoys spending his time with his family and friends, as well as participating in a large range of outdoor activities including: surfing, cycling, hiking, snowboarding, rock climbing, and competing in marathons, triathlons, and other sport events and sport races.

TESTIMONIALS.

I trained with Sebastian for a little over seven months. Throughout those months I saw tremendous gains in my power, strength and leaned out quite a bit, 30 lbs to be specific. The gains I saw from our core routines gave me more balance and power through my swing. You’re going to hate him while your at the gym because he’s gonna push you to your limit but once you look in the mirror or walk off the field you won’t be able to wait for your next session with him.
— Niko Vukasin, AA pitcher
I can say without hesitation that I would not have achieved my goals without Sebastian’s help. His workout regimens were brutal but efficient and his enthusiasm for fitness was contagious. He helped me establish long-lasting healthy workout and diet habits. I cannot recommend him enough.
— Devin Mattson, Ultra-distance cyclist
One of my biggest fears is the inability to pursue the sports I love. After I suffered a soccer related injury Sebastian was there to offer me the support I needed. He created a personalized program for me that focused on rehabilitation, stabilization and strengthening of my leg and body. His workouts are intense, but exhilarating and have pushed me to test my limits, in the best way possible. The attention and passion Sebastian sets forth in his work shows and if it was not for him, I would not be where I am today doing what I love.
— Sofia Maguina, D1 USF Soccer player
In 2017 I suffered a serious spinal cord injury while surfing. Sebastian and I began working together shortly after I regained the ability to walk [assisted by crutches]. His training has been instrumental in not only recovering functional abilities but building towards becoming an athlete again. I couldn’t be more appreciative of our time together or recommend him more highly.
