DIAKADI's Performance + Business Internship is a 'FLEXIBLE schedule, Build Your Own’ Curriculum program for certified trainers* which focuses on developing the concepts of fitness performance training while mastering the key elements and systems necessary for being a successful entrepreneur and small business owner.
Through weekly meetings with your Fitness + Business Coach, you will work through a syllabus of your custom designed curriculum built to meet your needs.
*no experience required, only a current certification.
Phase 1: FOUNDATION DEVELOPMENT | 12 Wks
Phase 1A - Exercise Physiology + Programming:
+ Anatomy and physiology
+ IMPROVE FITNESS PROGRAMMING SKILLS
+ ASSESSMENTS INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO: BODY MEASUREMENTS, POSTURE, FLEXIBILITY/RANGE OF MOTION/MOBILITY, FULL BODY MOVEMENT SCREEN, CORE STRENGTH TEST
+ Assessment Data to Program Design: Exercise selection, variable manipulation, progressions and regressions, periodization
+ Coaching and cueing skills
+ Exercise form and technique
