Through our struggles, we find our strength.

Before realizing his dream career, Joe spent five years in finance. Originally from Massachusetts, Joe attended Northeastern University where he majored in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Spanish. While pursuing his MBA part-time at Boston University, Joe began religiously attending the group fitness studio Barry's Bootcamp, which prompted a career change. Refusing to live a life he was no longer passionate about, he risked everything, uprooted his life from Boston, and moved to San Francisco to pursue his dreams of becoming a personal trainer.

Joe is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and PN Level 1 Certified through Precision Nutrition. His fitness and exercise background is truly eclectic influenced by his affinity for tabata, bootcamp, and other high-intensity interval training. His official personal training career began at Equinox Sports Club in 2015, but his training knowledge and style has evolved through his mentorship with DIAKADI. In addition to personal training, Joe is also a group fitness instructor having taught at Orangetheory Fitness, Wheel House, and Rogue & Saint Fitness.  He is the embodiment of a true fitness professional using his business acumen to transform his passion for health, nutrition, and fitness into an entrepreneurial venture.

Being fit and healthy is about your lifestyle choices; it should always be more than just some superficial goal. The outcome at the end is less important than the process. It’s the quality of what you’re able to do each and every day in, and outside of, the gym. Fall in love with the process. Be impressed by the progress. And remember, there’s no such thing as perfect. Perfection is the horizon. You can move towards it forever, but you’re never going to catch it.

Joe’s challenging, creative and unique style of training keeps me coming back for more. Joe is able to push limits while making the training fun through a variety of creative and efficient workouts that push me. Joe is always focused and attentive in ensuring I maintain proper form as we work through various exercises. He’s also helped with my nutritional knowledge and has been very flexible with my hectic work schedule. I cannot say enough of how great Joe is; his enthusiasm will keep you going! I highly recommend working with Joe for whatever your fitness goals may be!

I’ve been training with Joe for a while now, and he is by far the best trainer I’ve ever had. While he definitely pushes me to my limits, which is desired and appreciated, he does so in a way that is still friendly and inspiring. He checks in with me on my progress, and consistently asks for feedback on his sessions and methods. Even better, now that he’s a nutrition coach, he’s incorporated advice on top of our training so that I know I’m doing everything in and out of the gym to achieve my goals and be my best self.

Joe is an enthusiastic and knowledgeable trainer. He pushes me to do more than I ever thought I could accomplish. His workouts are unique and provide training I would not be able to do on my own. He always keeps the routines interesting and teaches me new techniques. Joe is encouraging and energetic without being an over-the-top drill sergeant. He also gives me nutrition advice to guide me in making the right diet choices to supplement my training. If seen significant change in my body after working out consistently with him. Joe has been instrumental in helping me reach my goals.
